Which PCBA metrics do you consider important for this role, and why?

For this role, I would track the metrics that expose both performance and risk: first-pass yield, defect Pareto, downtime, retest or rework, plan versus actual, and action closure. For test coverage, fixture design, programming, correlation, failure analysis, I would add the process-specific indicators that show whether the control is stable before defects reach the customer.
