How do you manage the engineering requirement in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing the approved specification and customer requirement. I then worked with the responsible team to confirm the requirement with the latest specification. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the engineering requirement met the agreed requirement.
