How do you manage the engineering project status in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing project plan, risk register, and action tracker. I then worked with the responsible team to align scope, owner, milestone, risk, dependency, and escalation path. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the engineering project status met the agreed requirement.
