How do you manage the accounting entry in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing the source document, chart of accounts, and posting record. I then worked with the responsible team to confirm the debit, credit, account, amount, and supporting document. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the accounting entry met the agreed requirement.
