How do you manage the depreciation and disposal treatment in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing the asset register, disposal document, and depreciation schedule. I then worked with the responsible team to verify useful life, depreciation method, disposal approval, and gain or loss calculation. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the depreciation and disposal treatment met the agreed requirement.
