How do you manage the payroll posting in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing the payroll register, HR summary, bank file, and GL reconciliation. I then worked with the responsible team to reconcile gross pay, overtime, deductions, tax, social security, and GL posting. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the payroll posting met the agreed requirement.
