How do you manage the audit request in your work?

In my previous role, I started by reviewing the PBC list, reconciliations, source documents, and response tracker. I then worked with the responsible team to prepare complete support, reconcile figures, explain unusual items, and track open requests. I documented the result, tracked any remaining risk, and followed up until the audit request met the agreed requirement.
